When Rivers Meet – Video of The Week

When Rivers Meet… Since bursting on to the UK Blues scene in 2020 with debut EPs. Grace and Aaron have been going from strength to strength. The British husband and wife duo currently has an ever-growing online fan base. Also, receiving regular play on BBC Radio 2.

So, it’s no surprise that people are taking notice of them! With their unique harmonic vocals and the innovative approach to song writing. Then, with the dirty electric guitar, slide resonator mandolin and fiddle There’s no stopping them! They create a unique distinctive and contemporary blues rock sound. While echoing the 1970s classic rock with hints of the 1930s blues that inspire them.

On November 20th, 2020, the duo releases their long-awaited debut album “We Fly Free” to critical acclaim! Also, the UK radio and rock music magazine media and reaching #1 in the Blues Album Charts on iTunes. Chris Kimsey, the Rolling Stones record producer praises the album saying that “Their performances are exemplary, the sound is magnificent, the songs are gorgeous. I love the drama. I love everything.”  In 2021, “When Rivers Meet” is the first band to win 4 UK Blues Awards in the same year and Voted Best New Band 2021 by Planet Rock listeners.

On November 19th, WRM releases their sophomore album “Saving Grace” and the single “Never Coming Home”. The album receives outstanding reviews, and the single is added to Planet Rock’s main playlist. Classic Rock Magazine has this to say about Saving Grace: “Grace and Aaron Bond return with an absolutely smoking follow-up, a spot-on cornucopia of dirty riffs and impassioned blues-rock power with a keen ear for authentic instrumentation and atmosphere.”

Tour Schedule:

While they are mostly touring in the U.K. They do have some tour stops in the U.S. Of all places, Nebraska is where they will be in August! So, Nebraska be sure to check them out!
