To me, John Paul Jones will always be one of the most underrated musicians in rock history. He started off playing bass as a session musician along with Jimmy Page. While he was in the great classic rock band Led Zeppelin, he played bass, organ, mandolin, and other instruments. He would play the bass notes with pedals while playing organ, which is a very difficult thing to do. His bass lines were always intricate and he helped co-write a lot of the band’s tunes. Jones continues to perform and record with other bands and inspires musicians of all ages to this day.
