Tedeschi Trucks Band – Video of The Week

Tedeschi Trucks Band: Tiny Desk Concert

Tedeschi Trucks Band – When this band comes to a town near you, not only does it create excitement! But their music also brings a wide variety of fans to their performances. This is what I love about this band because there is a little something for everyone.

This Tedeschi Trucks Band performance is at NPR Studios and one of my favorites among many. It’s from 2016 but it doesn’t matter because great music will always find a way to live on. So, sit back, grab your favorite beverage, and enjoy this moment of great music!

With this kind of talent coming through, they might just need some bigger desks to accommodate all this amazing talent visiting them! Just saying! – Enjoy!

NPR Description:

When singer-guitarist Susan Tedeschi sings and plays, you can hear the sound move from the Mississippi Delta up to Chicago. As this video shows, she dispenses up-tempo dance grooves and coax her voice around the anguished lyric of the blues.

At the same time, guitarist Derek Trucks seems to summon forth the entirety of contemporary music when he slides his bottle neck up and down the fretboard. As you’ll see, The Tedeschi Trucks Band functions in the service of a collective vision that celebrates the blues, jazz and so much more. – Felix Contreras / NPR
