Larkin Poe – “Mississippi”

Larkin Poe – New Video – “Mississippi”

Hailing from Nashville, this sister duo releases their newest music video, “Mississippi” from their 2018 Grammy Nominated album Venom & Faith. Next, the video is shot in a laundromat in Nashville with just the two sisters performing.  The video fully embodies the spirit of the deep south blues rock sound with beautiful accents of a slide guitar.  And just for added measure, the steady thumping rhythm section brings it around full circle.  The Larkin Poe gang has it dialed in to perfection while never losing that “just here for the music” sort of vibe.

2020 Tour

Beginning in February 2020, Larkin Poe will embark on a world tour in continued support of Venom & Faith. The tour begins on February 8th in Mumbai, India and includes headlining shows and festival appearances in North America. Along with Australia, New Zealand, Japan, the U.K., and Europe throughout the winter, spring, and summer months. And ending with their performance at the Blues Peer Festivalin Peer in Belgium the weekend of July 17th-19th.  Recently, the sisters celebrate a ten-year milestone of performing together.  Make sure to see this group perform live to really appreciate what they bring to the table!

Their Back Story

Rebecca & Megan Lovell of Larkin Poe are singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist sisters creating their own brand of Roots Rock ‘n’ Roll: gritty, soulful, and flavored by their southern heritage. Originally from Atlanta and currently living in Nashville, they are descendants of tortured artist and creative genius Edgar Allan Poe.
