Armed with a literal tool belt of harmonicas, acoustic and slide guitars, a Cajon, and whatever else he can fit into his car, Australia native Juzzie Smith is a talented roots and blues one-man-band.

If you have ever experienced a one-man-band show, you know they are very entertaining and impressive. The thoughts of “I can barely play one instrument” constantly litter your mind the entire set. Juzzie Smith not only can play a wide assortment of instruments, but he is highly proficient at all of them.
Smith began on the harmonica at 13 and by aged 23 he had won the “coveted Golden Harmonica at the Tamworth Country Music Festival.” After discovering that he was tired of playing smoky bars and clubs, he took to the streets as a busker, playing for anyone who would listen. This sparked an interest in becoming a one-man-band and thus opened up a new avenue and more gigs for Juzzie Smith.
Now, he expertly handles more than 6 types of instruments, mostly at the same time and has toured all over the world. In February, this music-loving entertainer will delight audience members aboard Joe Bonamassa’s blues cruise.
