“Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” – This delightful blast from the past is from the Jimmy Fallon show. While celebrating a whole week to the release of the Rolling Stones in Exile documentary in March of 2010.

Taking up residence in France as tax exiles, the Rolling Stones depart the UK in the spring of 1971. While Keith Richards is hanging out at a villa called Nellcôte in Villefranche-sur-Mer.  Furthermore, this becomes the venue for the recording much of the bands masterpiece “Exile On Main Street.” 

“Stones In Exile” tells the story in the bands own words. Along with extensive archive footage of their time away from England. While creating this extraordinary double album, highly regarded as the Rolling Stones finest achievement. 

Premiering at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival. It had its worldwide premiere on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon”. Fallon announces on his show that he would mark the re-release of the album with a week’s worth of musicians performing songs from the album.  Furthermore, the final night of the week, he held the premiere.
