Grace Potter & The Nocturnals with Warren Haynes.
Grace Potter & The Nocturnals need we say more? First and foremost, this awesome performance takes place at the New Orleans House of Blues. Next, it’s during Jazz Fest 2012. Better yet is that everyone is excited when Warren Haynes joins them on-stage! Furthermore, once you attend a show with this band, you know you’re in for a great time packed full of fun!
Singer, songwriter, and Hammond B-3 player Grace Potter grew up in Waitsfield, Vermont, where she began playing piano at the age of seven; informed by her parents’ extensive collection of some 4,000 LPs, she was gigging out locally by her late teens. Haynes at first, has a skeptical attitude towards Potter when they first started touring years ago, but soon they found that they were “kindred spirits” and that “her influences and her tastes in music ran as deep as his own.” So, as you can see, when they happen to be in the same area, it’s just natural to see them jam out together. Whether they’re performing together or by themselves, you can see the high energy performances coming from them. They play with heart and soul and leave everything at each show. So be sure to see both of them live if you get the chance!
Be sure to check back next week to see what’s new on KTBA! If you like what you read, please share.
