The European Blues Awards Winners have some obvious choices but there are few nice surprises as well. So, here are the 2019 winners in what was another massive vote.  Furthermore, a huge congratulations to this year’s winners. Award certificates will be distributed during 2020.

European Blues Awards Hall of Fame

We are delighted to report another 2 members of the European Blues Awards Hall of Fame.  These two lucky recipients for this award are both 3rd time European Blues Awards Winners in 2018. Furthermore, they now are added to the growing list of names that share the honor of Hall of Fame status.  Previously Beth, has won for Best Album with Fire on the Floor in 2016. As well as once again added a Best Vocalist vote win in 2018 and Ribs en Blues were voted Best Event/Festival for the third time.

Here are the 2019 winners.

The award certificates will be distributed as normal during 2020.

Larkin Poe – Best Band

Joe Bonamassa – Best Guitarist  

Kyla Brox – Best Vocalist (Female)

 Alan Nimmo – Best Vocalist (Male) 

Dom Martin – Best Solo/Acoustic 

Eric Gales – Best Musician (Performance) 

Kill or be Kind by Samantha Fish – Best Album

Culemborg Blues Netherlands – Best Event/Festival

Pete Feenstra Blues and Rock Show – Best Radio Show

Blues Matters – Best Magazine/Publication
