For this week’s blues highlight, we bring you a 12 year prodigy that can play some mean blues and rock!

Dylan Miles Frechette is not your typical staid “prodigy.” He’s just a 12-year-old kid that loves to rock! He started playing drums at the age of three and by the age of six, Dylan started playing the guitar.

His influences cover a broad range of musical styles that include classic rock, jam, funk, blues, and even punk!  Currently, he’s a student of the guitar program at the Denver School of Arts where he’s honing his guitar skills.

For the past six years, he’s lived in Denver, Colorado and has performed with local and national musicians at venues and festivals.

Like one of his idols, Hendrix, he’s a lefty and wields a collection of axes that include a Strat, Les Paul, and an Easton acoustic.  Check out his site:
