Eric Clapton is the indisputable blues guitar champ. He has been featured in many different bands, has sold countless records and topped various charts, and is the idol of almost every guitar player famous or aspiring.
By now, most of us have heard his electric blues albums, like with the trio Cream. There is some incredible technical guitar work there that has been modeled by many guitarists since. After all, his nickname is God in the guitar community for a reason. His sound is instantly recognizable, iconic, and pined over in the music realm. But, what if you are in the mood for the softer side of things? Well, your in luck with Clapton. He happens to be one of the best acoustic players around as well.
If you haven’t checked out his acoustic albums, you are missing out. His great playing style translates seamlessly to the acoustic and his voice pairs very well with the booming and beautiful sounds of his Martin acoustic guitars. The sound of his guitar is so full and robust that it effortlessly fills any size auditorium.
