The R&B and most times, straight blues band Vintage Trouble are keeping soul alive and well in this day and age where a lot of it seems absent from popular music. With the charisma and flare of James Brown leading a roots/blues band, Ty Taylor has found his voice and personality as the leader of the band.
In November of 2017, Vintage Trouble made a visit to the Paste Studios in New York City. This video features a stripped down, acoustic version of the testimonial blues track “Blues Hand Me Down” from their 2014 album Bomb Shelter Sessions.
Sometimes it proves to be rather challenging to turn a hard-hitting blues song into a captivating acoustic rendition. Vintage Trouble show their true musicianship and abilities by delivering a very strong and tight performance.
Coming up on the eight-year mark for this hip band, they have already been exposed to some big stages and events like the Bonamassa Keeping The Blues Alive At Sea cruise! Keep your eye on this band as they continue to shake things up.
